Business
Seatrium Ltd (SGX: 5E2) provides innovative engineering solutions to the global offshore, marine, and energy industries, including rigs and floaters such as FPSOs, FLNGs, FSRUs, semi-submersibles, jack-up rigs, and drillships; repairs and upgrades encompassing dry-docking, refurbishment, retrofitting, life extension, and low-carbon conversions for vessels, offshore rigs, and marine structures; offshore platforms featuring fixed platforms, process modules, offshore substations, and renewables infrastructure; and specialised shipbuilding for heavy lift vessels, LNG bunker vessels, dredgers, and new energy solutions. Headquartered in Singapore at 80 Tuas South Boulevard, the company, originally incorporated in 1963 as a predecessor entity and rebranded Seatrium in 2023 following the acquisition of Keppel Offshore & Marine by Sembcorp Marine, operates shipyards and facilities in Singapore, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and the United States, serving oil majors, renewable energy developers, shipping companies, and national oil firms across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. Recent developments include securing a second deepwater FPU contract from bp in November 2025, divesting non-core platform supply vessels for S$77 million and the AmFELS yard in the US in September-November 2025 to streamline operations, expanding collaborations such as a Letter of Intent with Karpowership for powership integrations and FSRU conversions in August 2025 and with Cochin Shipyard for jack-up rigs, winning FSRU conversion contracts from Kinetics and Hoegh Evi in 2025, and delivering key projects like the 18th FPSO to BW Offshore alongside advancements in carbon capture retrofits and offshore wind substations.
