Business
Cauldron Energy Limited (ASX: CXU) is an Australia-based mineral exploration and resource development company focused on minerals critical to the clean energy transition, including uranium, nickel, copper, platinum group elements, rare earths and silica sands. The company holds 100% ownership of its principal Yanrey Uranium Project in northern Western Australia, comprising 12 granted exploration tenements covering approximately 1,270 square kilometres and hosting the Bennet Well Uranium Deposit with a JORC 2012 resource of 38.9 million tonnes at 360 ppm eU3O8, along with four additional known uranium deposits and more than 20 untested exploration targets; the recently acquired Melrose Ni-Cu-PGE Project in the West Yilgarn region covering 169 square kilometres plus surrounding tenements totalling about 1,338 square kilometres; and three sustainable silica river sand projects including the Carnarvon Sand, Ashburton Sand and Fitzroy Sand projects, all in Western Australia. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Subiaco, Western Australia, Cauldron conducts all operations within Australia targeting energy transition commodities for utilities, industrial users and clean technology manufacturers. In late 2022, the company completed a recapitalisation, appointed a new senior management team led by CEO Jonathan Fisher and embraced a refreshed strategy emphasising uranium and decarbonisation themes; in 2025, it secured a $1.95 million fully underwritten entitlement offer to advance the Yanrey project and entered a transformational memorandum of understanding with Uzbekistan's Navoiyuran, the world's second-largest in-situ recovery uranium producer, providing technical assistance, ISR expertise, government advocacy support and potential future funding for Yanrey development; additionally, Cauldron announced a significant uranium discovery at Manyingee North within the Yanrey project area.
