Business
Greystone Housing Impact Investors LP (NYSE: GHI) acquires, holds, sells and otherwise deals in a portfolio of federally tax-exempt mortgage revenue bonds which have been issued to provide construction and/or permanent financing for affordable multifamily properties, student housing, senior citizen housing, skilled nursing properties and commercial properties across the United States. The Partnership operates through four segments: Affordable Multifamily Investments; Seniors and Skilled Nursing Investments; Market-Rate Joint Venture Investments; and MF Properties; and additionally invests in governmental issuer loans and tax-exempt and taxable loans in conjunction with Freddie Mac TEL Forward Commitments. Formed in 1998 and headquartered at 14301 FNB Parkway, Suite 211, Omaha, Nebraska 68154, the Partnership pursues leveraged investment growth in additional mortgage revenue bonds and related opportunities, leveraging securities market financing and interest rate risk management instruments. The Partnership recently reports third quarter 2025 advances and acquisitions of mortgage revenue bonds, taxable mortgage revenue bonds, taxable governmental issuer loans and property loans totaling approximately $27.5 million, offset by redemptions and paydowns of approximately $29.0 million; advances to market-rate joint venture equity investments of approximately $383,000; and issuance of Series B Preferred Units in October 2025 for gross proceeds of $5.0 million to fund additional investments, existing commitments and general operations. Recent strategic developments include securing an expanded $80 million revolving line of credit through a new Credit Agreement with five financial institutions, replacing the prior $50 million facility and increasing borrowing capacity by $30 million as of June 30, 2025; receiving a $60 million capital commitment from a second institutional investor for the BlackRock construction lending joint venture; and announcing a strategic shift to reduce capital allocated to market-rate joint venture equity while redeploying into tax-exempt mortgage revenue bond investments.
