Recent developments include the acquisition and delivery of two scrubber-equipped Kamsarmax vessels, M/V Glbs Gigi and M/V Glbs Angel, in late 2024, expanding the fleet from eight vessels; the sale of the Supramax vessel River Globe in March 2025; deliveries of three newbuild Ultramax vessels—Glbs Hero (January 2024), Glbs Might (August 2024) and Glbs Magic (September 2024)—as part of its fleet renewal strategy; and orders for two additional 64,000 dwt Ultramax bulk carriers from Nihon Shipyard, slated for delivery in the third or fourth quarter of 2026.
