Notably, the company is expanding into residential smart home safety with its PLACE smart smoke and CO detection systems. Furthermore, Gentex engages in research for nanofiber chemical sensing applications, offers low-vision smart glasses, and has expanded into biometric authentication solutions through recent acquisitions.
