Founded in 2016 and formerly known as ShouTi Inc., Structure Therapeutics is headquartered in South San Francisco, California, with operations in the United States and China targeting global patient populations. Recent developments include completion of enrollment in aleniglipron Phase 2b obesity studies, announcement of three additional aleniglipron clinical studies for competitive positioning, advancement of oral amylin programs, asset sale of a program to Exelixis generating $10 million upfront with $5.2 million received, $547 million in financing secured in 2024, and a strengthened cash position of $883.5 million as of year-end 2024 funding operations through 2027.
