Novaturas AB (NTU.WA) is the largest tour operator in the Baltic region, providing organized travel packages and services primarily in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The company offers flight packages including summer and winter holiday trips to popular resorts in Southern Europe, North Africa, Asia, and Latin America; sightseeing tours by plane to long-haul destinations; sightseeing tours by coach to European countries such as Poland, France, Italy, Austria, Croatia, and Greece; and other services encompassing airline tickets, online hotel bookings, and ancillary offerings like eSIM mobile internet partnerships and sustainable hotel selections. Products are sold through over 400 external travel agencies, own retail offices in major Baltic cities, and an expanding e-commerce platform including the Global Distribution System. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Kaunas, Lithuania, Novaturas operates as a holding company with subsidiaries handling country-specific activities and maintains listings on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Vilnius. Recent developments include the April 2025 completion of the first stage of a strategic investment transaction, under which Turkish tourism investor Neset Kockar acquired 23.2% of shares from existing shareholders; appointment of a new Board of Directors in July 2025 featuring international tourism experts Sebnem Gunel and Chris Mottershead alongside Chairman Gediminas Almantas; a management transition with CFO Darius Undzėnas departing in July 2025; securing a EUR 9 million surety insurance agreement with Euroins AD in June 2025; introduction of new destinations such as The Gambia and Gran Canaria; and discontinuation of negotiations for the second stage of the investor transaction as announced in September 2025.
