Business
Devonian Health Group Inc. is a Canadian clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company specializing in the development of botanical pharmaceutical products and cosmeceuticals targeting fibro-inflammatory, autoimmune, inflammatory and oxidative-stress-related conditions. The Company’s principal drug-development asset is Thykamine™, a proprietary botanical active pharmaceutical ingredient derived from its SUPREX™ platform and being developed for multiple therapeutic indications, including radiodermatitis prevention associated with radiotherapy, adult and pediatric atopic dermatitis, chemotherapy-induced hand-foot syndrome, ulcerative colitis, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), fibrosis and other inflammatory or autoimmune disorders. Its pharmaceutical pipeline also includes pantoprazole magnesium and dexlansoprazole products for gastric-reflux-related conditions, as well as Cleo-35 for hormonal acne in women. Devonian develops and commercializes dermo-cosmeceutical products incorporating R-Spinasome®, its proprietary photosynthetic green-leaf-cell extract with antioxidant properties, including Purgenesis™ women’s anti-aging day, night and eye creams, as well as anti-aging creams, serums and regenerating treatments. The Company operates an extraction and manufacturing facility in Québec, Canada, and develops products for prescription-drug, dermatology, gastrointestinal, oncology-supportive-care and consumer skin-care markets. Incorporated in 2015, Devonian is headquartered in Montmagny, Québec, Canada. Recent developments include Health Canada authorization to initiate a seamless adaptive Phase II/III clinical trial of Thykamine cream for mild-to-moderate atopic dermatitis in patients aged three months to 17 years; independent validation and integration of chemical-composition fingerprinting and biological-potency quality-control technologies into the Thykamine extraction and manufacturing process; continued preclinical studies reporting anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic activity in MASH, liver and pulmonary-fibrosis models; filings of proprietary Thykamine fingerprint-related patent applications; a share consolidation undertaken in preparation for a potential U.S. listing; and a proposed underwritten public offering and anticipated NYSE American listing of common shares and warrants under the DHGR and DHGR WS symbols, while continuing its TSX Venture Exchange listing under GSD and OTCQB quotation under DVHGF.
