Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation (Nasdaq: GTEC) designs, develops, manufactures and sells drivetrain systems, components and electric industrial vehicles for material handling equipment worldwide; offers transmission systems and integrated powertrains primarily for electric forklift trucks, electric industrial heavy equipment including the GEL-1800 all-electric wheeled front loader, GEX-8000 all-electric excavator and electric lithium forklifts under the HEVI brand, as well as charging solutions; and serves manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, fulfillment center, shipyard and seaport applications. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in East Windsor, New Jersey, the company operates primarily in China as the leading provider of transmissions and drivetrains for forklifts while expanding into the North American electric heavy equipment market through its HEVI subsidiary. Recent developments include a 2024 strategic partnership with Lonking Holdings to co-develop electric heavy machinery for the U.S. under the HEVI brand, leveraging Greenland's electric vehicle technology and Lonking's manufacturing expertise; entry into the electric industrial vehicle sector in 2021 with initial U.S. commercialization of the GEL-1800 and GEX-8000 models; and ongoing investments in lithium-powered drivetrain components since 2019.
