The company emerged from a Chapter 11 restructuring in April 2021 backed by KPS Capital Partners, raising $1.3 billion in equity to strengthen its balance sheet. In recent developments, Garrett Motion refinanced its credit facilities in January 2025, replacing a $692 million term loan with a new facility maturing in 2032 and upsizing its revolver to $630 million maturing in 2030, while maintaining $725 million in liquidity as of year-end 2024.
