The company, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, manages approximately 88 properties with 1.8 million square meters of leasable area valued at NIS 34 billion as of March 2025; its portfolio allocation comprises 85% retail, 11% offices, and 4% residential, with geographic distribution of 38% Central Europe, 23% Israel, 13% Northern Europe, 16% USA and Canada, and 10% Brazil. Subsidiaries include G City Europe, Citycon in Northern Europe, Gazit Brasil, and Gazit Israel; G City Ltd is a subsidiary of Norstar Holdings Inc. and formerly known as Gazit-Globe Ltd, with a name change in May 2022.
