- ADENTRA Inc. is a leading North American distributor of architectural building products to residential, repair and remodel, and commercial construction markets. The company supplies an extensive portfolio of high-value products including architectural panels, trim, moulding and millwork, stair parts and railings, interior and exterior doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, decorative surfaces, decorative and functional hardware, plywood, hardwood lumber and boards, veneers, fasteners and adhesives, roofing, decking, siding, hardwood plywood, composite panels, and outdoor living products through four channels to market: industrial manufacturers, home centers, ProDealer lumberyards, and architects and designers. ADENTRA operates a network of 86 regional customer service centers across the United States and Canada, serving over 75,000 customers with approximately half of sales directed to secondary manufacturers for residential applications, one-third to commercial and institutional construction, and the remainder to other markets. Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, the company, formerly known as Hardwoods Distribution Inc., rebranded to ADENTRA Inc. in December 2022 and maintains listings on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker ADEN and OTC under HDIUF. In July 2024, ADENTRA completed the US$130 million acquisition of Woolf Distributing Company, Inc., a US Midwest-based distributor that expanded its geographic footprint, enhanced outdoor living product offerings, and strengthened ProDealer channel presence while proving immediately accretive to adjusted EBITDA margin and earnings per share; the company also extended its credit facilities in January 2025, increased its dividend by 7% in November 2024, strengthened leadership with new board additions and a COO appointment in January 2025, and reported total 2024 sales of US$2.18 billion.
