- Duell Oyj (DUELL.HE) is a Finland-based import, wholesale, and distribution company specializing in powersports aftermarket products, serving approximately 8,500 dealers across Europe through an extensive distribution network. The company offers a broad portfolio encompassing more than 130,000 items from over 290 brands, including 19 proprietary brands, across six core categories: onroad and offroad motorcycle products; all-terrain vehicle (ATV)/UTV products; snowmobile products; bicycle products; marine products; and garden/forest accessories, including technical and spare parts as well as personal equipment such as clothing and accessories from brands like Alpinestars, Pirelli, Airoh, Oakley, Jobe, Dunlop, Sena, Just1, and Halvarssons. Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Mustasaari (Korsholm), Finland, Duell operates subsidiaries and logistics centers in six European countries, including Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, the UK, and others in Central Europe and the Nordics, targeting powersports dealers with year-round, seasonal offerings.
In recent years, Duell has pursued aggressive expansion through strategic acquisitions, including Techno Motor Veghel BV in the Netherlands (2022) to bolster its motocross and offroad presence; PowerFactory Nordic Oy Ab in Finland (2022, subsequently merged and rebranded as Oy Duell Bike-Center Ab); IGM Trading B.V. in the Netherlands and Grand Canyon GmbH in Germany (2021); and UK-based Tran-Am Ltd (2023) for premium motorcycling apparel. The company executed a fully guaranteed rights offering of approximately EUR 20 million in late 2023 to strengthen its balance sheet, reduce net debt, fund deferred acquisition payments, and support European growth initiatives; additionally, it completed a directed share issue raising EUR 8.7 million in early 2023 and a share buy-back program in October 2024. Operationally, Duell launched its initial eCommerce platform for dealers in summer 2025 to provide integrated access to its full product range, initiated logistics footprint optimization starting in the Nordics, and made key management appointments including Anne-May Asplund as Chief People and Communications Officer (effective July 2025) and Magnus Miemois as CEO (2024, previously COO). These moves underscore Duell's focus on integration of acquired entities, digital enhancement, and continental market penetration amid challenging consumer conditions.
