Business
Reaktor Group Oyj is a technology consulting and software engineering company that provides digital transformation, strategic design, custom software development, and proprietary software products. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, the company operates across three business models comprising Technology Solutions, Software Products, and a Venture Ecosystem. Reaktor organizes its operations into specialized industry verticals, including Public Sector, Cross Industries, Aero, Gaming and Entertainment, and Defence and Security. The company's portfolio of services and products includes digital strategy, service design, and user experience engineering; bespoke web, mobile, and cloud software development; data engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence integration; mission-critical in-flight entertainment and passenger connectivity software for commercial aviation; and proprietary software products for defence and security, notably its Intelligence Software Suite featuring Nebula for real-time collaborative situational awareness across air, land, sea, space, and cyber domains, as well as Auriga for on-premise AI deployments in classified environments. Operating primarily through its key operating entity Reaktor Innovations Oy alongside a network of more than 45 venture companies, the organization serves global commercial enterprises, public sector organizations, and defence agencies, with clients including American Airlines, Airbus, Adidas, Cathay Pacific, Kone, ABB, Zalando, and YLE. Reaktor maintains international operations and offices across Finland in Helsinki, Tampere, and Turku, as well as in Amsterdam, Netherlands; Lisbon, Portugal; New York City, United States; and Tokyo, Japan. In recent corporate developments, Reaktor completed an initial public offering on the regulated main market of Nasdaq Helsinki in June 2026 under the ticker symbol REAKTOR, raising approximately 20 million euros in gross proceeds to support international scaling, the expansion of its defence software portfolio, and artificial intelligence capabilities. Furthermore, the company broadened its delivery capabilities through an investment in software engineering firm Tekai, introduced new ecosystem ventures including Avenyo, The Value Lab, and Premium Security, and entered a strategic partnership with Fintech Farm to deliver artificial intelligence solutions to Nordic financial institutions.
