In recent developments, Geely Group Co., Ltd. solidified control in January 2023 by acquiring equity in controlling shareholder Hong Bridge Capital Limited, enhancing strategic alignment with Geely affiliates; the company terminated its French online car-hailing operations and initiated voluntary liquidation of the related indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary in February 2025 amid revenue pressures, with H1 2025 lithium battery sales declining significantly; it entered a bauxite purchase framework agreement and an equity transfer agreement in January 2025; pursued a memorandum of understanding for technical consulting with Zangge Mining in May 2024; and completed new share subscriptions under specific mandate in late 2024 to bolster its capital base while optimizing operations and reducing expenses.
