Danang Rubber Joint Stock Company (HOSE: DRC) is a Vietnam-based manufacturer and distributor of automotive tires, inner tubes, and industrial rubber products, operating as a core subsidiary of the state-owned Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem). Founded in 1975 and headquartered in Da Nang, Vietnam, the company specializes in the research, development, engineering, and commercial production of rubber-based mobility and industrial solutions for commercial, passenger, agricultural, and industrial vehicle markets worldwide. The company operates primarily through its tire manufacturing, tube production, and technical rubber divisions, marketing its products under the DRC brand name. Its extensive product and service portfolio encompasses all-steel truck and bus radial (TBR) tires; passenger car radial (PCR) tires; light truck radial tires; conventional diagonal/bias tires for heavy-duty commercial trucks, buses, tractors, and agricultural machinery; off-the-road (OTR) and earthmover tires for mining and construction equipment; specialized military vehicle tires; motorcycle tires and tubes; bicycle tires and tubes; retreaded tires and camelback precured tread rubber; technical rubber goods, including industrial conveyor belts, transmission belts, rubber hoses, dock fenders, and molded automotive rubber spare parts; and custom rubber compounding, tire testing, and technical advisory services. Danang Rubber Joint Stock Company serves a diversified customer base ranging from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), automotive assembly plants, and commercial transportation fleets to agricultural cooperatives, industrial operators, and individual retail vehicle owners. Domestically, the company maintains an extensive distribution network of provincial dealerships, logistics centers, and retail service outlets across Vietnam. Internationally, it exports its radial and bias tire products to more than 40 countries and territories across North America, Latin America, Europe, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East, with key export markets including the United States, Brazil, and India. In recent developments, Danang Rubber Joint Stock Company completed and fully commissioned the Phase 3 expansion of its Radial Truck Tire Plant in Da Nang, elevating its all-steel radial truck and bus tire production capacity to 1 million units annually. The company has also expanded its manufacturing capabilities into passenger car radial (PCR) tires to capture growing demand in domestic and overseas consumer automotive segments. Additionally, DRC has established long-term strategic supply and distribution alliances with key commercial tire distributors in the Americas, implemented factory-wide automation and digital warehouse management systems, and installed industrial-scale rooftop solar power systems across its manufacturing facilities to advance environmental sustainability and satisfy stringent international import compliance standards.
