- FECON Corporation is a Vietnam-based infrastructure construction, geotechnical engineering, and underground construction company headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam. Founded in 2004 and listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FCN, the company operates across civil engineering, industrial construction, underground infrastructure, transport infrastructure, and energy investment segments. The company operates through three primary business divisions: Foundation and Underground Construction, Infrastructure and Industrial Construction, and Project Investment. In Foundation and Underground Construction, FECON provides geotechnical engineering and soil investigation; soil improvement services, including jet grouting, chemical grouting, Tube à Manchette (TAM) grouting, deep cement mixing, and prefabricated vertical drain installation; foundation construction comprising bored piling, driven piling, and diaphragm walls; and underground construction utilizing tunnel boring machines (TBM), pipe jacking, shaft excavation, and tunnel lining segment installation. In Infrastructure and Industrial Construction, the company delivers engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and general contracting services for transport infrastructure such as expressways, highways, bridges, railways, and airport runways; industrial facilities including thermal power plants, petrochemical complexes, and manufacturing plants; and hydraulic works, port infrastructure, and municipal drainage systems. Through its manufacturing and material supply operations, FECON produces prestressed concrete spun piles, precast concrete tunnel segments, and geotechnical materials through subsidiaries such as FECON Miltec. In Project Investment, the company invests in and develops renewable energy assets, including onshore and offshore wind power farms, solar power plants, and waste-to-energy facilities, alongside industrial parks and urban real estate developments through its investment vehicle FECON Invest. FECON serves government entities, state-owned enterprises, industrial developers, and multinational corporations across Vietnam and Southeast Asia, executing operations through specialized subsidiaries and joint ventures, including FECON South Joint Stock Company, FECON Infrastructure Construction Joint Stock Company, FECON Invest Corporation, FECON Hai Dang, and FECON RAITO Underground Construction Joint Stock Company (FRU), an equity-method affiliate established with Japanese geotechnical engineering partner Raito Kogyo Co., Ltd. In recent developments, the company proposed a corporate reorganization to rebrand from FECON Corporation to FECON Group Joint Stock Company to reflect its expanded multi-sector operations spanning underground infrastructure, energy, and industrial development. In project delivery and backlog expansion, FECON secured major contractor packages including foundational works for the Long Thanh International Airport, general contracting for the My Thuy Port project, ground engineering for the Cu Chi Waste-to-Energy Plant, and underground tunneling packages for the Hanoi Metro Line 3 project. To strengthen its renewable energy footprint, FECON expanded its joint development partnership with Corio Generation, a Macquarie Asset Management portfolio company, to co-develop a 500-megawatt offshore wind farm in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. Additionally, the company expanded its material supply and export business through subsidiary FECON Hai Dang, entering strategic supply contracts with international industrial partners including Hyundai Steel.
