To support balance sheet expansion and strengthen Tier 1 capital ratios, the bank implemented a strategic capital enlargement plan to raise its charter capital past VND 100 trillion through a combination of stock dividend issuances, shareholder rights offerings, and private placements to institutional investors. Concurrently, the group advanced its regional expansion strategy across Indochina, including the restructuring of its Cambodian presence into a commercial banking subsidiary to enhance cross-border trade finance and payment corridors.
