In recent operational and strategic developments, PV Drilling has accelerated its international expansion and modern rig fleet investment across Southeast Asia. The company expanded its offshore drilling capacity through the acquisition and commercial commissioning of the high-specification jack-up rig PV DRILLING IX, while executing capital investments for the acquisition of the PV DRILLING X jack-up rig to fulfill growing regional drilling demand. In Indonesia, the company reinforced its market presence by securing a multi-year contract extension for the PV DRILLING II jack-up rig with PT Pertamina Hulu Energi ONWJ through 2028, alongside the multi-year deployment of the PV DRILLING III rig for exploration and development drilling in northwest Java and southeast Sumatra. In Malaysia, PV Drilling expanded its operating fleet to multiple active units, deploying the PV DRILLING VIII rig for consecutive development drilling programs offshore Sabah and Sarawak alongside ongoing campaigns for PV DRILLING VI. Furthermore, the company has scaled the cross-border integration of high-margin well technical services and equipment rentals throughout ASEAN markets, while strategically positioning its offshore fleet and technical service divisions to support major domestic energy initiatives, including the Block B - O Mon gas-to-power development project in Vietnam.
