Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation is a Vietnam-based provider of comprehensive postal, express delivery, freight forwarding, and integrated logistics solutions. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, the company operates as a core logistics subsidiary of the state-owned Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group. The company organizes its business operations across express delivery, domestic and cross-border freight forwarding, supply chain fulfillment, and digital trade enablement, serving corporate enterprises, e-commerce merchants, public institutions, and retail consumers. The company's core products and services encompass: domestic express delivery solutions, including standard parcel delivery, same-day and timed express courier, economical heavy cargo transport, cash-on-delivery collection, document dispatch, and temperature-controlled parcel handling; international express and freight services, comprising cross-border parcel delivery, international air and ocean freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and global tracking connecting Vietnam with over 200 countries and territories; freight forwarding and multimodal transportation, offering full-truckload, less-than-truckload, containerized shipping, and domestic intermodal rail logistics; warehousing and supply chain fulfillment, delivering third-party logistics and fourth-party logistics management, bonded warehousing, cold chain storage, automated picking and packaging, inventory management, and reverse logistics; and digital platform and value-added services, featuring the ViettelPost management application, smart parcel locker networks, integrated payment collection, e-commerce trade support, and telecommunications agency distribution. The company operates an extensive nationwide infrastructure across all 63 provinces and cities in Vietnam, supported by thousands of post offices, transaction centers, and sorting hubs, alongside regional operations in Southeast Asian markets, including Cambodia and Myanmar. In recent major developments, Viettel Post completed the transfer and official listing of its shares from the Unlisted Public Company Market to the main board of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol VTP in March 2024. To modernize its operational capabilities, the company commissioned a flagship automated smart sorting center in Hanoi utilizing automated guided vehicles, artificial intelligence, and high-speed cross-belt sorting systems to significantly expand daily parcel processing capacity and streamline transit times. Additionally, Viettel Post has accelerated its cross-border logistics strategy by expanding intermodal railway and road freight corridors connecting Vietnam and China, establishing strategic logistics facilities at key border economic gates, and entering strategic cooperation agreements with international logistics and e-commerce platforms to bolster its cross-border fulfillment and global supply chain operations.
