Hexagon Purus ASA develops and manufactures hydrogen storage and energy solutions for zero-emission mobility. The company provides hydrogen Type 4 high-pressure cylinders and systems; stationary storage solutions; refueling and distribution systems; high-pressure gas bundles; complete hydrogen fuel storage systems for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles, buses, maritime applications, rail, and aerospace; battery packs; and vehicle integration services for fuel cell electric and battery electric vehicles. Hexagon Purus ASA operates production facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia, serving OEMs, dealers, and fleet operators in the clean energy and transportation sectors. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Oslo, Norway, the company maintains a workforce of over 650 professionals focused on advancing hydrogen infrastructure and battery electrification. Its products support segments including passenger vehicles, off-highway vehicles, aviation, and ground storage. In recent developments, Hexagon Composites ASA, the company's largest shareholder holding approximately 34.6% of shares, completed the acquisition of Worthington's Sustainable Energy Solutions alternative fuels business (SES Composites) in October 2025, with the purchase price settled partly in Hexagon Purus shares, increasing strategic alignment in hydrogen technologies. Earlier funding included a convertible bond private placement of up to NOK 1 billion in late 2023, supported by investors Mitsui, Hexagon Composites, and Hy24 to fund global capacity expansions for hydrogen infrastructure and mobility solutions. The company reported quarterly revenue growth, reaching NOK 193 million in Q2 2025, reflecting progress in serial production and customer contracts amid the green energy transition.
