HomeTrust Bancshares, Inc. operates as the holding company for HomeTrust Bank, a North Carolina state-chartered community-focused financial institution that provides a broad range of retail and commercial banking products and services to individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations across North Carolina, Upstate South Carolina, East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Georgia. Deposit products include savings accounts, money market accounts, noninterest-bearing checking accounts, interest-bearing checking accounts, and certificates of deposit; loan products encompass one-to-four-family real estate loans, multifamily loans, home equity lines of credit, construction and land development loans, indirect auto finance, consumer loans, commercial real estate loans, commercial and industrial loans, small business administration loans, equipment finance leases, and municipal leases; additional services comprise cash management, online banking, mobile banking, mortgages, and investments in U.S. government agency debt securities, government-sponsored enterprises, municipal bonds, corporate bonds, commercial paper, and FDIC-insured certificates of deposit. Founded in 1926 and headquartered in Asheville, North Carolina, with a regional headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, the company manages assets of approximately $4.6 billion as of June 30, 2025, through more than 30 branches and digital channels.
