Installed Building Products, Inc. (NYSE: IBP) installs insulation and complementary building products for residential new construction, repair and remodel, and commercial end markets across the United States through over 250 branches. The company provides fiberglass, cellulose, and spray foam insulation; garage doors and openers; rain gutters; shower doors, mirrors, and bath hardware; closet shelving; window blinds, shades, and shutters; fireplaces; door locksets and hardware; waterproofing and moisture protection systems; fire-stopping systems; and caulk and sealant products, with installation accounting for over 90% of revenues complemented by distribution and manufacturing operations. Installed Building Products serves national, regional, and local homebuilders, multi-family and commercial contractors, and homeowners from its headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, where it traces origins to 1977. The company pursues aggressive growth through acquisitions, completing nine deals adding approximately $88 million in annual revenue through Q3 2024; recent transactions include Wholesale Insulation Supply, Inc. (Insulation Supplies) in October 2024 expanding upper Midwest distribution with over $22 million in annual revenue, and Capital entities in December 2024 bolstering Houston-area operations with over $12 million in annual revenue, contributing to more than $100 million in acquired revenue for the year.
