Innovent operates primarily in the People's Republic of China, with activities in the United States and Indonesia, partnering with over 30 global healthcare companies such as Eli Lilly, Roche, Sanofi, Incyte, and LG Chem; it also distributes pharmaceutical products and provides research, development, and consultation services. Recent developments include the closing in December 2025 of a global strategic partnership with Takeda, announced in October 2025, under which Takeda pays Innovent an upfront $1.2 billion including a $100 million equity investment to advance next-generation IO backbone therapies and ADC molecules like IBI363 for global development and commercialization outside China.
