The company operates under multiple brands such as Regus, Spaces, Signature, HQ, Basepoint, Stop & Work, The Office Operators, The Clubhouse, BizDojo, Open Office, No18, Central Working, and Copernico, serving startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, large multinationals, franchise partners, landlords, and property owners. Founded in 1989 by Mark Dixon in Brussels, Belgium, and headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, IWG maintains an extensive network of over 4,000 locations across more than 120 countries in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. In June 2024, the company changed its name from IWG plc to International Workplace Group plc and shifted its reporting currency and share denomination from sterling to US dollars. During the first half of 2025, IWG achieved record network expansion by signing 496 new capital-light partnership deals, opening 338 new centers, and adding 37,400 gross rooms, with nearly all growth under the partnership model; it also announced a 10-year global partnership with SmartLabs in June 2025 to deliver managed lab environments in life sciences hubs and added a new HQ center in Oman in December 2025.
