Business
Jericho Energy Ventures Inc. (TSXV: JEV; OTC: JROOF) is an energy innovation company that develops solutions at the convergence of traditional hydrocarbons, artificial intelligence computing infrastructure, and clean hydrogen; it acquires, explores, develops, and produces crude oil and natural gas from joint venture properties in Oklahoma's prolific formations including the Hunton, Mississippi Lime, Woodford Shale, and STACK Play in the Anadarko Basin; and it deploys build-to-suit modular AI data centers powered by low-cost natural gas and grid power from its Mid-Continent U.S. energy infrastructure. The company advances the clean hydrogen economy through its wholly owned subsidiary Hydrogen Technologies, which provides patented zero-emission DCC hydrogen boilers and burners for commercial and industrial heat and steam applications; a significant minority stake and board position in California Catalysts (formerly H2U Technologies), focused on non-iridium catalysts and electrolysis materials for lower-cost green hydrogen production; and ETNA Solutions for hydrogen-related innovations. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, with key operations in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jericho Energy Ventures primarily serves energy, AI infrastructure, and industrial markets in the United States. In recent developments, the company progressed its oil and gas asset revitalization program in 2025, achieving increased production and cost reductions through return-to-production initiatives, behind-pipe potential, and drilled-but-uncompleted wells, while applying for Oklahoma tax rebates on secondary recovery projects; partnered with AT&T in April 2025 to install scalable fiber optic connectivity starting at 10Gbps for its inaugural modular high-performance AI data center site in Oklahoma; and extended its non-binding letter of intent in November 2025 for a proposed all-stock merger with Smartkem, Inc. to create a U.S.-owned, AI-focused infrastructure company combining Jericho's energy platform with Smartkem's semiconductor technologies.
