- J2 Metals Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of precious-metal and critical-mineral properties. The Company’s principal assets comprise the 2,203-hectare Sierra Plata silver-gold-antimony project in the Zacualpan-Taxco district of Guerrero State, Mexico; the 5,925-hectare, wholly owned Napoleon gold project in the Forty Mile district of Alaska, United States; and the Miniac gold project in Quebec’s Abitibi Greenstone Belt, Canada. Sierra Plata includes multiple historic high-grade silver mines and workings, including El Salto, El Sabino and other vein systems, and is being explored for epithermal silver, gold and antimony mineralization; Napoleon is an orogenic and intrusion-related gold exploration property prospective for high-grade gold mineralization; and Miniac is an early-stage gold exploration project targeting structurally controlled mineralization in the Abitibi region. The Company’s activities include geological mapping; surface sampling; geophysical surveying, including induced-polarization and UAV magnetic surveys; target generation; trenching; and diamond drilling, with its projects directed toward discovery-stage mineral exploration rather than commercial mine production.
In recent developments, J2 Metals obtained TSX Venture Exchange approval in May 2026 for a definitive option agreement with Impact Silver Corp. to acquire a 100% interest in the Sierra Plata project over a three-year period, expanding its portfolio into Mexican silver-gold-antimony exploration. The Company subsequently mobilized field teams for property-wide mapping at Sierra Plata, identified additional historic mine workings, completed a UAV drone magnetic survey, and reported surface sampling results of up to 1,030 grams per tonne silver while advancing the property toward trenching and initial drilling. J2 Metals also completed a 41-line-kilometre OreVision induced-polarization survey at Miniac to refine Phase II drill targets and continues exploration planning at the Napoleon project. During fiscal 2026, the Company raised approximately C$4.76 million through private placements and related financings to support exploration and corporate activities. Formerly Cranstown Capital Corp., J2 Metals changed its name and commenced trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol JTWO in March 2025; its common shares also trade on the OTCQB under JTWOF and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under OO10. Incorporated in 2021, J2 Metals is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
