KBC Group NV (KBCSY) is a Belgian universal bank-insurer that provides integrated banking, insurance, and asset management services primarily to retail, private banking, small and medium-sized enterprise, and mid-cap clients. The company offers demand deposits, time deposits, savings and current accounts; home, mortgage, and consumer loans; SME funding and project financing; lease financing; investment funds; life, non-life, and health insurance products; cash management, payments, trade finance, corporate finance, factoring, stockbroking, and capital market services; as well as digital and mobile banking solutions. In recent developments, KBC Group announced in May 2025 the strategic acquisition of a 98.45% stake in 365.bank from J&T Finance Group for EUR 761 million to expand its retail presence in Slovakia, pending regulatory approvals expected by year-end; acquired Business Lease Group's operations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in October 2025; completed its inaugural significant risk transfer transaction on a EUR 4.2 billion corporate loan portfolio; and partnered with Doconomy to enhance financial wellbeing tools for younger clients.
