Business
Kinetik Holdings Inc. (NYSE: KNTK) operates as an integrated midstream energy company focused on the Delaware Basin of the Permian in Texas; it provides gathering, compression, processing, transportation, treating, stabilization, storage, and water management services for natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGLs), crude oil, and produced water to producers and operators. The company functions through two primary segments, Midstream Logistics and Pipeline Transportation; Midstream Logistics encompasses gas gathering and processing via over 3,900 miles of low- and high-pressure pipelines including more than 2,300 miles of gas pipeline, crude oil gathering with stabilization and storage, and produced water gathering and disposal; Pipeline Transportation includes equity investments in three Permian Basin pipelines such as Kinetik NGL Pipeline and Delaware Link Pipeline that connect to U.S. Gulf Coast markets. Kinetik Holdings also markets condensates, natural gas residue, and NGLs. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Midland, Texas with additional operations and presence in Houston, the company maintains a pure-play focus on Permian midstream services serving approximately 90 producer customers exclusively in the Texas Delaware Basin. In December 2024, Kinetik announced a $180 million bolt-on acquisition of natural gas and crude oil gathering systems from Permian Resources Corporation primarily in Reeves County, Texas, adjacent to its existing Delaware South system, expected to close in the first quarter of 2025 and add over 150 Mmcf/d of gas and 25,000 barrels per day of crude volumes in 2025 while reinforcing its strategic partnership with the operator; in July 2025, the company commenced dual listing of its common stock on NYSE Texas as a founding member while retaining its primary NYSE listing.
