In July 2025, the company reached final investment decision and closed $15.1 billion in project financing for Phase 1 of CP2 LNG and the associated CP Express Pipeline, marking its third greenfield project FID in under six years with over $80 billion in total capital markets transactions; in November 2025, it filed Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and U.S. Department of Energy applications for a brownfield expansion of Plaquemines LNG to add over 30 MTPA peak capacity in three phases using 32 modular trains, nearly doubling the site's total peak output to more than 58 MTPA; year-to-date through Q3 2025, it secured approximately $30 billion across eight major financings, including a $2 billion revolving credit facility and $4 billion in Plaquemines senior secured notes, alongside new 20-year sales and purchase agreements such as a 1 MTPA deal with Naturgy of Spain for CP2 Phase 2.
