Coca-Cola FEMSA, S.A.B. de C.V. (KOF) operates as the largest independent bottler of Coca-Cola trademark beverages by sales volume; the company produces, markets, sells and distributes carbonated soft drinks including Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Light/Diet and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar; juices and nectars under the Del Valle brand; dairy and plant-based beverages such as Santa Clara and Ades; energy drinks like Monster Energy; as well as teas, bottled water and other non-alcoholic beverages. Headquartered in Mexico City, Mexico, and founded in 1991 as a joint venture between FEMSA and The Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola FEMSA conducts operations across Mexico; Central America encompassing Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama; and South America including Colombia, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay; it serves broad consumer bases from families and young adults to those seeking nutritious or energy-boosting options through an extensive distribution network reaching retailers and consumers. Recent developments include a $110 million investment in its Mogi das Cruzes production facility in São Paulo, Brazil, to add two new soft drink production lines with enhanced sustainability features such as water neutrality and reduced emissions, slated for completion by late 2025; a $45 million expansion of its Calle Blancos plant in Costa Rica to boost capacity, logistics and exports to Nicaragua and Panama while generating over 260 jobs; and an agreement to distribute Ambev's beer brands including Corona, Michelob and Budweiser, announced in December 2025, expanding its portfolio into alcoholic beverages.
