HRS Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based specialty chemical company primarily engaged in the research, development, manufacture, and distribution of silicone rubber compounds and advanced silicone materials. Founded in 1981 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, the company caters to clients across the automotive, electric vehicle, electrical and electronics, energy and power generation, medical and healthcare, consumer products, and industrial manufacturing sectors. The company's comprehensive product portfolio comprises High Consistency Silicone Rubber (HCR/HTV), including general extrusion and molding compounds, heat-resistant and flame-retardant grades, high-voltage insulation rubbers, and high-tear-strength elastomers; Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR), encompassing high-precision two-component formulations engineered for automated injection molding across medical devices, infant care items, optical parts, and automotive connectors; Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) silicones, featuring single- and two-part silicone adhesives, potting compounds, and sealants for electronics encapsulation and solar module assemblies; Specialty Silicones and Adhesives, consisting of silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA), thermal conductive interface materials, and protective silicone sheets; Silicone Emulsions and Personal Care Ingredients, including defoaming agents, industrial release agents, and specialized silicone formulations for skin care, hair care, and color cosmetics; Nuclear and Industrial Firestop Systems, providing specialized fire-resistant silicone foams, elastomeric sealants, and radiation-shielding barriers; and Silicone Additives, including platinum catalyst systems, crosslinking curing agents, and color masterbatches. HRS Co., Ltd. conducts operations through primary domestic manufacturing plants and research centers in Pyeongtaek and Asan, South Korea, as well as an overseas production subsidiary and manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China, distributing products throughout domestic and international markets across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. In recent developments, the company has expanded its strategic focus toward next-generation mobility and clean energy sectors, advancing the commercialization of specialized thermal-conductive silicone gap fillers, high-voltage cable insulation materials, and flame-retardant silicone barrier sheets tailored for electric vehicle (EV) battery packs and energy storage systems (ESS). Concurrently, the company continues to bolster its market position in infrastructure safety by supplying certified silicone firestop solutions for nuclear power plant construction, executing continuous manufacturing process optimizations via its Silicone Application Technology Research Institute, and maintaining shareholder value through regular cash dividend distributions.
