Business
Welkeeps Hitech Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based technology and manufacturing company primarily engaged in the development, design, and production of semiconductor display packaging, power electronic components, and automotive systems. Founded in 1974 and headquartered in Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the company operates as a publicly listed affiliate under Welkeeps Holdings Co., Ltd., serving consumer electronics manufacturers, display panel makers, and automotive supply chains across domestic and international markets. Welkeeps Hitech structures its operations into three core business divisions: Semiconductor Solutions, Electronic Components, and Automotive Parts. The company offers a comprehensive range of products and technical services across multiple categories: semiconductor and display solutions, including Display Driver Integrated Circuit (DDI) packaging, Touch Screen Controller ICs, Chip-on-Film (COF) bonding, and Tape Carrier Package (TCP) assembly for mobile device screens, organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panels, laptop displays, and desktop monitors; power electronic components, comprising switching transformers, high-frequency transformers, surface-mount device (SMD) power inductors, power choke coils, line filters, and wireless charging transmission modules designed for home appliances, telecommunications hardware, and power supply units; automotive and electric vehicle (EV) assemblies, featuring EV battery module assembly (BMA) components, battery housing structures, inverter components, electric drive motor plastic parts, and precision technical plastic injection-molded products engineered for Tier-1 automotive suppliers and vehicle manufacturers; and specialized electromagnetic sub-assemblies for digital equipment and storage devices. In recent strategic developments, the company underwent a major corporate reorganization and rebranding in March 2023, changing its corporate name from Clover Hitech Co., Ltd. to Welkeeps Hitech Co., Ltd. following its integration into the Welkeeps Group. In 2024, Welkeeps Hitech advanced its strategic diversification into the e-mobility sector by completing the acquisition of a 100% equity stake in Jewon Tech Co., Ltd., an automotive plastics manufacturer specializing in electric vehicle battery parts and motor assemblies. To address structural shifts in the global electric vehicle supply chain and bolster balance sheet resilience, the company has engaged in operational streamlining across its component lines, implemented internal financial stabilization measures, and extended targeted capital and debt guarantee support to optimize its newly acquired automotive manufacturing operations.
