- Orbitech Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based engineering and precision manufacturing company primarily engaged in providing nuclear power plant technical services, aerospace structural component manufacturing, and non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, the company operates through three principal business segments: Nuclear Energy, Aerospace, and New Technology Finance. In its Nuclear Energy division, Orbitech provides comprehensive radiation safety management and radiological protection services for nuclear power generation facilities; pre-service inspection (PSI) and in-service inspection (ISI) for steam generator heat transfer tubes, reactor pressure vessels, piping, and related safety-critical components; radioactive waste decontamination, clearance, and deregulation services; non-destructive testing utilizing radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant methodologies; and the development, calibration, and supply of radiation monitoring systems and nuclear instrumentation. Within its Aerospace segment, the company operates as a precision component manufacturer and Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier to global commercial aircraft programs, producing structural assemblies including tail fuselage bulkhead assemblies, rear pressure bulkheads, rear spars, jack screw mechanisms, and precision-machined airframe components. In addition, through its investment affiliate Orbit Partners, the company engages in technology venture financing and investment management services. Orbitech serves public utilities, nuclear facility operators, defense agencies, and commercial aerospace contractors across domestic and international markets, including South Korea, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. In recent corporate developments, Orbitech underwent a major ownership and governance restructuring, transitioning to become an affiliate of the JUSUNG Group following a change in controlling shareholder from Seongjin Holdings. As part of this corporate reorganization and capital reallocation, the company agreed in 2026 to divest its 20.12% equity stake in special lighting manufacturer Fine Technix to Seongjin Holdings. In its core operational market, Orbitech expanded its public utility service pipeline by securing a multi-year, KRW 5.57 billion service contract with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) in mid-2026 to provide calibration and maintenance services for environmental radiation disaster monitoring equipment through July 2029, supported by balance sheet restructuring and capital-raising initiatives comprising third-party allotment equity offerings and convertible bond issuances.
