GigaLane Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based company primarily engaged in the development, manufacture, and distribution of radio frequency (RF) communication components and advanced semiconductor processing equipment. The company operates through two primary business divisions: Radio Frequency (RF) and Semiconductor Equipment. Its RF division provides high-frequency connectivity solutions, including RF coaxial cable assemblies; micro-coaxial connectors and RF switches for smartphones and mobile devices; multi-port RF connectors; 5G Massive MIMO base station antennas and transmission modules; test sockets, probe units, and high-frequency test cables; and specialized RF interconnects for aerospace, defense, and automotive electronics applications. Its Semiconductor Equipment division specializes in dry etching systems, offering inductively coupled plasma (ICP) etchers; deep reactive-ion etching (DRIE) systems for micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS); compound semiconductor etchers for gallium nitride (GaN), silicon carbide (SiC), and gallium arsenide (GaAs) power and optoelectronic devices; sapphire substrate etching systems for high-brightness LEDs and microLED displays; and nano-imprint lithography (NIL) systems, alongside refurbished semiconductor manufacturing equipment and equipment overhaul engineering services. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, GigaLane maintains production facilities in South Korea and operates an overseas manufacturing subsidiary in Vietnam to support export markets across the Asia-Pacific region, North America, and Europe. In recent operational and strategic developments, GigaLane has expanded its supply partnerships for 5G and next-generation 6G wireless infrastructure components with global telecommunications equipment manufacturers, broadened its semiconductor equipment portfolio to capture increasing demand for electric vehicle power semiconductors (SiC and GaN) and ultra-fine pitch microLED etching solutions, scaled production capacity at its Vietnam manufacturing hub, and accelerated the commercialization of high-reliability RF interconnect solutions for defense and aerospace programs.
