Samjin LND Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based precision engineering and manufacturing company primarily engaged in the development, production, and distribution of precision electronic components, display parts, secondary battery hardware, and energy-efficient lighting solutions. Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the company operates across four principal business segments: Display Components, Secondary Battery Components, LED Lighting Systems, and Precision Molding and Automotive Parts. In the Display Components segment, the company manufactures precision optical and structural parts for liquid crystal display (LCD) and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panels utilized in televisions, computer monitors, laptops, and automotive displays; its product portfolio includes light guide plates (LGPs), molded frames, backlight unit (BLU) chassis, optical sheets, diffuser plates, and micro-lens optical arrays. In the Secondary Battery Components segment, Samjin LND produces high-precision safety and structural components for cylindrical, prismatic, and pouch-type lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles (EVs), energy storage systems (ESS), and power tools; core offerings comprise battery top cap assemblies, precision gaskets, current interrupt devices (CIDs), insulation rings, terminal plates, and module enclosure components supplied to major battery cell manufacturers, including tier-one relationships with Samsung SDI. In the LED Lighting Systems segment, the company designs, engineers, and markets commercial, industrial, and smart lighting solutions under proprietary brands as well as OEM and ODM arrangements; offerings encompass high-bay industrial luminaires, architectural downlights, exterior street and tunnel lighting, smart wireless lighting control networks, and human-centric tunable lighting fixtures. In the Precision Molding and Automotive Parts segment, Samjin LND provides ultra-precision mold fabrication, precision plastic injection molding, progressive metal stamping, and specialized components for automotive instrument clusters, electronic control units (ECUs), sensor housings, and consumer electronics assemblies. The company markets its products to global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and multinational technology and automotive suppliers across South Korea, China, Vietnam, North America, and Europe. Samjin LND maintains a global manufacturing, engineering, and logistics network through operational subsidiaries and manufacturing facilities located in South Korea, China (Dongguan and Suzhou), Vietnam (Samjin Vina), and Mexico (Samjin Mexico). In recent developments, Samjin LND has accelerated its strategic expansion into high-growth green mobility and energy storage markets by scaling up manufacturing capacity for high-specification secondary battery components, with particular focus on next-generation large-form-factor cylindrical cell hardware and modular energy storage system parts. The company has deepened its technical and supply chain collaboration with primary battery manufacturing partners, integrating advanced automated inspection and assembly lines to meet tightened safety tolerances for electric vehicle applications. Concurrently, Samjin LND has restructured and expanded its international production footprint, ramping up output across its facilities in Vietnam and North America to optimize global supply chain resilience for automotive and electronics clients, while advancing its portfolio of connected smart lighting platforms and intelligent sensor-integrated industrial fixtures.
