Business
Daehan Nupharm Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based healthcare and life sciences company engaged primarily in the research, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of human pharmaceuticals, veterinary healthcare products, medical aesthetics, and bio-wellness solutions. Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Hwaseong, South Korea, the company operates across four key business divisions: Human Pharmaceuticals, Animal Health, Bio-Aesthetics and Wellness, and Contract Manufacturing (CMO/CDMO) Services. In its human pharmaceutical division, the company manufactures and distributes prescription drugs (ETC) and over-the-counter (OTC) medications, specializing in anti-obesity and metabolic syndrome therapies; cardiovascular and circulatory agents; gastrointestinal treatments; musculoskeletal, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic formulations; central nervous system and respiratory remedies; anti-infectives; and specialized wellness injectables, including thioctic acid, glutathione, ascorbic acid, and placenta extract formulations. In its animal health segment, the company develops and supplies veterinary therapeutics, vaccines, anthelmintics, antibiotics, immune modulators, nutritional supplements, and functional feed additives designed for livestock, poultry, swine, aquaculture, and companion animals. In its bio-aesthetics and wellness division, the company offers hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, polydioxanone (PDO) lifting threads, mesotherapy solutions, skin boosters, functional cosmeceuticals, and health functional foods. The company operates advanced KGMP-compliant production facilities in the Hyangnam Pharmaceutical Complex and distributes its portfolio domestically to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and livestock enterprises, while exporting to international markets across Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. In recent strategic developments, Daehan Nupharm has expanded its automated injectable production capacities and modernized its manufacturing infrastructure to strengthen its high-margin global CDMO business; broadened its aesthetic and companion animal pipelines through the introduction of premium skin rejuvenation formulations and specialized pet therapeutics; and secured targeted international distribution partnerships to accelerate market penetration and regulatory registrations in high-growth emerging economies.
