Hancom WITH Inc. is a South Korea-based information security software provider and digital asset technology company that serves as the core security and holding entity of the Hancom Group. Founded on March 31, 1999, as SoftForum Co., Ltd., and formerly known as Hancom Secure Inc. before rebranding in July 2019, the company is headquartered in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and is publicly listed on the KOSDAQ market under the ticker 054920. Hancom WITH provides cybersecurity, cryptographic infrastructure, digital identity authentication, blockchain architectures, and precious metal trading solutions to financial institutions, enterprise corporations, public sector agencies, and retail consumers across South Korea and international markets. The company delivers its technologies and services through several core product lines: Public Key Infrastructure and data encryption software, including Hancom xPKI for digital certificate lifecycle management and verification, and Hancom xDB TSS and Hancom xDB v5.0 for storage-level encryption of structured and unstructured enterprise databases; network and communication security frameworks, including Hancom xConnect v4.0 with post-quantum cryptography integration; identity authentication and biometric verification platforms, comprising Hancom Pass for FIDO-certified biometric authentication, FacePIN for facial recognition, AnySign for web-based electronic signatures and data encryption, AnyPIN for credential authentication, and HancomAUTH Liveness for AI-powered facial biometric anti-spoofing and deepfake detection; artificial intelligence-driven data protection systems, featuring Data Security Posture Management platforms for automated data asset identification and National Network Security Framework compliance, alongside intelligent contextual document classification engines; distributed ledger solutions, including the Hancom SLedger blockchain platform and Hancom BSS blockchain security infrastructure; and physical and digital commodities trading, conducted via its subsidiary Hancom Gold Exchange (Korea Gold Exchange), which encompasses physical bullion distribution, jewelry showroom operations, and digital real-world asset trading platforms. In recent operational and strategic developments, Hancom WITH has expanded its presence in post-quantum cryptography and artificial intelligence security through the commercial rollout of post-quantum-enabled encryption suites and deepfake-resistant authentication tools. The company has accelerated its digital financial asset initiatives by entering into a strategic tripartite partnership with UAE-based gold trading enterprise ADGT and Cast Holdings to establish gold-backed real-world asset tokenization platforms across the Middle East. Hancom WITH also formed a collaboration with AI infrastructure provider Connectionary to co-develop public sector data security and automated document classification technologies. Additionally, Hancom WITH has restructured its corporate governance by systematically increasing its equity stake in key affiliate Hancom Inc. beyond 30 percent, consolidating the software flagship as a subsidiary to solidify Hancom WITH's operational control and role as the centralized holding structure for the broader group.
