ELUON Corporation is a South Korea-based telecommunications software and network equipment provider that specializes in mobile core network solutions, multi-access edge computing, smart card issuance systems, and digital media platforms. Founded in 1998 as Softeleware, Inc. and headquartered in Seongnam-si, South Korea, the company operates across two core business segments: Telecommunications Solutions and Card Issuance Solutions. Under its Telecommunications Solutions division, the company designs, develops, and deploys mobile core infrastructure and value-added systems, including 5G and 4G LTE core network software; Home Subscriber Server (HSS) and Unified Data Management (UDM) platforms for subscriber database management and authentication; Mobility Management Entity (MME) and Serving/Packet Data Network Gateways (S/P-GW) for data traffic switching and session management; Media Resource Function (MRF) and Interconnection Border Control Function (IBCF) for signaling routing and multimedia stream processing; Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) platforms for ultra-low latency enterprise applications; and Location-Based Service (LBS) engines, targeted mobile messaging, and digital video archive management platforms. Through its subsidiary, ELUON INS Co., Ltd., the company provides automated smart card issuance solutions, including integrated IC card personalization systems, high-speed card mailing and packaging machinery, and vision-based automated quality inspection systems for commercial banks, credit card issuers, telecommunications operators, and government agencies. Geographically, ELUON Corporation primarily serves tier-one telecommunications carriers, public institutions, and enterprise clients in South Korea, while conducting overseas business and export activities in Southeast Asian markets, including Indonesia. In recent strategic developments, ELUON Corporation has focused on the commercialization of specialized private 5G (e-Um 5G) core network equipment and next-generation network security. The company successfully completed the joint development and commercial deployment of localized private 5G core equipment in strategic partnership with KT Corporation through government-supported R&D initiatives, providing domestic enterprises and public entities with sovereign, cost-effective private network infrastructure. Furthermore, ELUON Corporation has integrated Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and quantum-safe security modules into its private 5G core and MEC architectures, demonstrating quantum-resistant encrypted streaming in coordination with state telecommunications agencies. To advance its cloud-native capabilities, the company collaborates with global hardware and technology partners, including Intel, to optimize high-performance, energy-efficient containerized network functions (CNF) and virtualized network functions (VNF), while diversifying its revenue base into enterprise smart factories, naval defense communications, and international private network deployments.
