- Victek Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based technology company primarily engaged in the development, manufacture, and supply of advanced defense electronics and civilian smart infrastructure systems. Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Songdo, Incheon, South Korea, the company operates primarily across two business segments: the Defense Industry segment and the Civil Public Business segment.
In its Defense Industry segment, Victek designs, manufactures, and supplies critical military electronic components and systems to the Republic of Korea Armed Forces, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), and tier-one defense system integrators including Hanwha Systems and LIG Nex1. The company's defense product and service portfolio encompasses: electronic warfare (EW) systems, including direction-finding equipment, the ACES-I electronic support system for surface combatant vessels, and the ACES-III system for submarine platforms; military-grade power supplies, including high-voltage power conversion modules, pulse power units, and power distribution systems engineered for naval vessels, ground radar installations, and guided weapon platforms; tactical communication and signal processing equipment, including components for the Tactical Multiband Multirole Radio (TMMR) program, Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) devices, and high-power radio frequency amplifiers; and advanced optoelectronics and sensor solutions, including precision LiDAR modules designed for maritime unmanned platforms.
In its Civil Public Business segment, Victek leverages its communications and embedded electronics expertise to deliver urban infrastructure technologies. The company's civilian portfolio encompasses: public bicycle sharing systems, providing end-to-end municipal bike-sharing infrastructure, unmanned rental kiosks, smart locking mechanisms, and centralized fleet management software; photovoltaic power generation system engineering, procurement, and construction services; and electrical and telecommunications facility engineering, including intelligent traffic management and municipal monitoring systems.
In recent corporate and operational developments, Victek completed the relocation of its corporate headquarters to Songdo, Incheon, expanding its testing, manufacturing, and research and development infrastructure. In 2024, the company established a dedicated subsidiary, VICTEK-MHD ROCKLAND, following a strategic partnership with Canadian aerospace company MHD-ROCKLAND, expanding its business scope into military aircraft follow-up logistics, Performance-Based Logistics (PBL), and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services for fixed-wing military platforms including the P-3C Orion and C-130 Hercules. In late 2024, Victek was awarded a KRW 9.29 billion contract with the Defense Rapid Acquisition Technology Research Institute for the performance enhancement of shipboard small electronic warfare equipment-II through 2026, alongside ongoing serial production component supply agreements for Hanwha Systems' TMMR program. Additionally, the company was selected as a Defense Innovation Company 100 by DAPA, designated as a specialized contractor for submarine electronic warfare system localization, and entered into joint development agreements for KM-class precision maritime search LiDAR technologies.
