Business
Sejin T.S Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based company primarily engaged in the manufacturing, precision processing, and distribution of optical functional films and component materials for the flat-panel display industry. The company specializes in cleanroom-based secondary conversion, precision pressing, lamination, and micro-patterning of optical sheet assemblies utilized in thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) backlight units (BLU) and Mini LED illumination architectures. Its core product portfolio comprises optical functional sheets, including diffusion sheets coated with acrylic micro-particles on optical-grade polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film to deliver uniform light dispersion; prism and light-condensing sheets designed to refract and focus backlight output for enhanced luminance and reduced power consumption; reflector sheets engineered to maximize optical efficiency and minimize light leakage; and protective sheets developed to safeguard delicate optical layers during module assembly. Additionally, the company manufactures specialty and industrial films, including extruded patterned films; polycarbonate (PC) and acrylic sheets; co-extrusion films; and high-durability adhesive and functional films tailored for automotive displays, consumer electronics, audio-visual equipment, and office automation devices. Sejin T.S Co., Ltd. supplies its component solutions to global display manufacturers and electronics conglomerates, serving end markets across smartphones, tablet PCs, notebook computers, desktop monitors, automotive instrumentation, and televisions. In recent company developments, Sejin T.S Co., Ltd. has advanced its technical processing footprint into high-value Mini LED optical components, completed the strategic divestment of its Chinese manufacturing entity to streamline overseas operations, and centralized its foreign production at its subsidiary, Sejin Optical Co., Ltd. in Vietnam. The company has also initiated active capital management and shareholder value enhancement programs, executing corporate share buybacks and operational efficiency initiatives to achieve profitability turnaround in its core display materials business. Originally established in 1990 as Sejin Trading and incorporated in 1996, Sejin T.S Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and maintains production and sales operations in South Korea and Vietnam.
