Business
NewFlex Technology Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based electronics manufacturing company principally engaged in the development, manufacture, and distribution of flexible printed circuit boards (FPCBs) and surface mount technology (SMT) assemblies. The company operates across multiple specialized application areas serving the mobile communications, consumer electronics, extended reality (XR), automotive electronics, and industrial healthcare sectors. Its systematic product portfolio includes Single-Sided FPCBs; Double-Sided FPCBs; Multi-Layer FPCBs; Rigid-Flexible PCBs (Rigid-Flex PCBs); High-Density Interconnect (HDI) boards; Surface Mount Technology (SMT) board assemblies; smartphone camera module FPCBs, including folded-zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS) interconnects; display and touch screen panel (TSP) connection boards; wireless charging module circuits; sub-board, fingerprint sensor, and side-key FPCBs; extended reality (XR) and virtual reality (VR) multi-camera and tracking sensor FPCBs; automotive electric vehicle (EV) battery management system (BMS) wiring harness and busbar FPCBs; and diagnostic medical device circuits. The company delivers its interconnect solutions to leading module aggregators, consumer hardware manufacturers, and global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Originally established in November 1992 as Deborah Electronics and incorporated under its current corporate identity in June 2000, NewFlex Technology Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The company manages global manufacturing and assembly operations through domestic facilities as well as key overseas manufacturing subsidiaries located in Vietnam, including Newflex Technology Vina Co., Ltd. and Vina Newflex Co., Ltd., which support integrated front-end fabrication and back-end assembly processes. In recent major corporate developments, NewFlex established a new domestic subsidiary, NFG, to drive business diversification and high-density interconnect growth. To streamline operational efficiencies and secure capital for technological upgrades across its primary Vietnamese manufacturing hubs, the company executed a major real estate asset transfer, divesting its industrial land and plant facilities in Ansan to Daeduck Electronics Co., Ltd. for KRW 52.8 billion. Furthermore, the company has completed a governance transition to a consolidated leadership structure under Chief Executive Officer Lim Si-yeon while strategically shifting its revenue mix toward high-margin growth sectors, including spatial computing XR headset camera modules, folded-zoom mobile optics, and electric vehicle battery interconnect platforms.
