- JS Link, Inc. is a South Korea-based biotechnology and advanced materials company engaged in the provision of genomic analysis services and the manufacturing of rare earth permanent magnets. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, the company operates across two principal business divisions: Genomic Services and Advanced Magnet Materials. Within its genomics segment, the company offers a comprehensive portfolio of research and molecular diagnostic solutions, including next-generation sequencing (NGS) encompassing whole-genome sequencing, de novo sequencing, whole-exome sequencing, targeted sequencing, transcriptome sequencing, epigenome profiling, and single-cell RNA sequencing; microarray-based DNA and RNA expression analysis; high-throughput genotyping assays; automated PCR and qPCR testing utilizing the Fluidigm BioMark System; TaqMan and SNaPshot genetic testing; patient-derived xenograft (PDX) modeling services; and personalized genomic profiling for academic, clinical, and pharmaceutical research institutions. Within its advanced materials segment, the company develops and manufactures sintered neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) permanent magnets designed for automotive, electric vehicle (EV), renewable energy, and industrial electronics applications. Geographically, JS Link serves clients across South Korea, the Asia-Pacific region, North America, and international markets. In April 2025, the company officially changed its corporate name from DNA Link, Inc. to JS Link, Inc., marking a strategic corporate reorganization and expansion into the global permanent magnet sector. In July 2025, the company entered into a strategic memorandum of understanding with Lynas Rare Earths to establish an integrated rare earth supply chain and construct a 3,000-tonne capacity NdFeB permanent magnet manufacturing plant in Kuantan, Malaysia. Furthermore, the company expanded its domestic production infrastructure in Yesan, South Korea, and in September 2025 announced plans to invest approximately $223 million through its wholly owned subsidiary, JS Link America Inc., to establish a rare earth permanent magnet production facility in Columbus, Georgia, United States.
