SUNIC SYSTEM Co., Ltd. engages in the development, manufacture, and distribution of advanced vacuum deposition equipment and thin-film process systems for the display, semiconductor, and renewable energy industries worldwide. Founded in May 1990 and headquartered in Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the company operates as a key equipment subsidiary of Dong-A Eltek Co., Ltd. Sunic System structures its operations around specialized equipment categories and engineering solutions, comprising: OLED Evaporation Systems, including the SUNICEL series of cluster-type and inline-type vacuum deposition tools such as the SUNICEL Plus 1850 for 6th-generation flexible AMOLED panels, SUNICEL Plus 700 for 4.5-generation pilot lines, SUNICEL Plus 400 and SUNICEL Plus 200 for small-generation displays and R&D material evaluation, and SUNICEL Plus inline platforms for high-throughput display and lighting manufacturing; Micro-OLED and OLEDoS Equipment, featuring 300mm (12-inch) wafer-level OLED-on-Silicon deposition machines, including the SUNICEL Plus 300W, engineered for ultra-high-resolution microdisplays in augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality devices; Large-Format IT OLED Deposition Systems, encompassing 8.6th-generation RGB and tandem OLED evaporation machines designed for notebook, tablet, and automotive display fabrication; Thin-Film and Semiconductor Process Tools, including sputtering systems, chemical vapor deposition (CVD) equipment, and dry etching machines; Solar and Perovskite Deposition Solutions, marketed under the SUNICPV series for the mass production and research of perovskite solar cells, perovskite-silicon tandem cells, and back-contact photovoltaic modules; and Core Components and Support Services, consisting of linear and point evaporation sources, high-precision auto-alignment modules, mask deflection prevention units, vacuum robotic transfer platforms, proprietary process control software, cleanroom installation, and ongoing technical maintenance services. Sunic System supplies commercial panel manufacturers, technology conglomerates, and academic institutions across South Korea, China, Taiwan, the United States, and Europe. In recent company developments, Sunic System secured multi-hundred-billion-won supply contracts with BOE Technology Group to deliver 8.6-generation OLED deposition equipment for its advanced IT panel manufacturing facilities. To accommodate expanding global demand for 8.6-generation OLED and microdisplay machinery, the company initiated significant production capacity expansions, including the construction of a new manufacturing base in the Pyeongtaek Brain City industrial complex. Additionally, Sunic System entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with SND Display to co-develop vacuum deposition equipment and specialized processes for next-generation perovskite-based displays, while integrating artificial intelligence algorithms into its deposition platforms to optimize thin-film yield and automate predictive maintenance.
