Business
CENOTEC Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based advanced materials manufacturer primarily engaged in the development, production, and sale of ultra-fine ceramic beads, ceramic welding materials, and zircon-based functional products. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Haman-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea, the company supplies high-precision ceramic solutions to domestic and international clients across the secondary battery, electronic components, mining and minerals, shipbuilding, construction, paints, inks, and ceramics industries. The company operates through three core product lines: Ceramic Beads and Grinding Media; comprising yttria-stabilized zirconia beads (CZY), cerium-stabilized zirconia beads (CZC), zirconium silicate beads (CZS), and high-purity alumina beads (CA), which are engineered for ultra-fine wet milling, nano-dispersion, and high-energy grinding of secondary battery cathode and anode materials, multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) dielectric formulations, mineral concentrates, paints, dyes, and pharmaceutical formulations; Ceramic Welding Materials; including submerged arc welding (SAW) fluxes, ceramic backing strips, and one-side welding consumables designed for heavy structural welding in shipbuilding, offshore plant fabrication, bridge construction, and architectural steelworks; and Zircon and Refractory Products; featuring micronized zircon flours, zirconium silicate opacifiers, and precision casting refractory materials utilized as glaze opacifiers for sanitary ware and tiles, precision investment casting binders, and thermal barrier compounds. In recent developments, CENOTEC Co., Ltd. has strategically accelerated its expansion within the global rechargeable battery ecosystem by scaling up the commercial production of ultra-fine ceramic beads measuring under 50 micrometers. These micro-beads are tailored specifically for the advanced milling and dispersion of high-nickel cathode precursors, silicon-based anode materials, and carbon nanotube (CNT) conductive slurries for electric vehicle batteries. To support growing international demand, the company has expanded its manufacturing capacity and strengthened its export footprint across major mining hubs and advanced manufacturing regions in North America, Europe, Australia, South America, and Asia. Furthermore, CENOTEC continues to broaden strategic technical collaborations with electronic material and battery component manufacturers to supply tailored nano-grinding solutions for next-generation energy storage and high-density electronic devices.
