Business
People & Technology MS, Inc. is a South Korea-based industrial machinery manufacturing company that specializes in the development, design, and production of automated equipment for secondary battery separators, display panels, and specialized industrial film processes. Founded in 2001 as Myungseong TNS Co., Ltd. and headquartered in Daegu, South Korea, the company operates as a key subsidiary of People & Technology Inc. (PNT). The company operates primarily through its Secondary Battery Equipment, Display Equipment, and Industrial Machinery segments, serving domestic and international clients across East Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. The company's core product and service portfolio encompasses: secondary battery separator manufacturing equipment, including complete production lines for wet and dry lithium-ion battery separators (LiBS), high-precision extruders, casting machines, simultaneous and sequential machine direction (MD) and transverse direction (TD) stretching machines, solvent extraction systems, drying ovens, heat-setting units, and roll-to-roll slitters; specialized surface coating equipment, such as ceramic coating machines, PVDF binder coating lines, and micro-gravure coating systems designed to improve separator thermal stability and puncture resistance; display and semiconductor processing equipment, including automated optical film laminators, polarizer bonding systems, autoclave defoaming machines, and automated optical inspection (AOI) units; and custom factory automation solutions, including automated roll changers, cleanroom transfer systems, equipment retrofitting, installation, commissioning, and aftermarket engineering services. In recent developments, the company underwent a comprehensive corporate restructuring and officially rebranded to People & Technology MS, Inc. following its strategic acquisition by leading roll-to-roll equipment manufacturer People & Technology Inc. (PNT). This integration enabled the company to stabilize its capital structure, normalize operational governance, and achieve technological synergies with PNT's established global supply chain. To meet expanding global demand for electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage system (ESS) applications, the company expanded its production footprint and broadened its equipment portfolio to include ultra-wide, high-speed separator stretching lines and next-generation ceramic-coated separator (CCS) machinery tailored for high-nickel battery architectures. Additionally, the company has broadened joint commercialization and supply agreements alongside its parent company to deliver integrated turn-key battery manufacturing solutions to Tier-1 battery cell and component manufacturers worldwide.
