- G2Power Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based smart grid and electrical equipment engineering company specializing in the design, manufacture, and deployment of smart power distribution systems, condition monitoring solutions, and renewable energy infrastructure. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the company develops and supplies electrical equipment integrated with proprietary Condition Monitoring and Diagnosis (CMD) technology that utilizes the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and information and communication technology (ICT) to detect partial discharges, arc faults, and thermal anomalies in real time.
The company's core product and service portfolio comprises high- and low-voltage switchgears, switchboards, and motor control centers (MCC) for power distribution and substation automation; Condition Monitoring and Diagnosis (CMD) sensor modules, partial discharge diagnostic devices, and IoT-driven remote asset health monitoring platforms; turnkey solar photovoltaic (PV) generation systems, including solar inverters, power conversion systems (PCS), solar connection units, building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services; containerized and distributed energy storage systems (ESS), liquid immersion-cooling battery energy storage units, and integrated energy management systems (EMS); and facility operation, maintenance (O&M), and independent power production (IPP) services managed directly and through its subsidiary, G2Energy Co., Ltd.
G2Power provides its solutions across public procurement markets, municipal infrastructure, nuclear and conventional utilities, telecommunication and data centers, industrial complexes, commercial buildings, airports, and railway transportation systems. In recent operational developments, the company expanded its footprint in the nuclear power equipment sector after securing KEPIC-EN and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) Q-Class quality certifications, subsequently winning a KRW 43 billion supply contract for high-voltage switchgear for the Shin-Hanul Units 3 and 4 nuclear power plant construction. In the energy storage sector, G2Power commercialized next-generation liquid immersion-cooling ESS technology, achieving official KC safety certification to target high-reliability data centers and microgrid installations. To accelerate technological capabilities and international growth, the company established a partnership with S-OIL for immersion cooling fluids, founded its United States subsidiary G2America in conjunction with a joint development initiative with U.S.-based FSE, and executed a strategic memorandum of understanding with India's Pinnacle Engineering to expand overseas power infrastructure distribution.
