Business
TEMC Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based specialty materials and equipment manufacturing company that specializes in the development, synthesis, purification, recycling, and distribution of ultra-high-purity specialty gases and chemical management systems primarily for the semiconductor, flat-panel display, and secondary battery industries. The company operates across three primary business divisions: Specialty Gases, Semiconductor Equipment and Materials, and Secondary Battery Solutions. Its comprehensive product portfolio includes noble and rare gases, comprising high-purity neon (Ne), krypton (Kr), and xenon (Xe); excimer laser gas mixtures utilized in semiconductor lithography processes; etching and cleaning specialty gases, such as sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), nitrogen trifluoride (NF3), tetrafluoromethane (CF4), carbonyl sulfide (COS), hexafluorobutadiene (C4F6), and fluoromethane (CH3F); deposition and doping process gases, including disilane (Si2H6), carbon monoxide (CO), and diborane (B2H6) mixtures; and advanced chemical precursors, including titanium tetrachloride (TiCl4) and hexachlorodisilane (HCDS). In addition to gas and material production, the company manufactures and engineers specialized industrial equipment, including Central Chemical Supply Systems (CCSS), Valve Manifold Boxes (VMB), gas abatement scrubbers, and automated secondary battery manufacturing systems. TEMC provides its solutions to leading global semiconductor fabrication facilities and electronics manufacturers across South Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, and the United States. In recent strategic developments, the company acquired Oceanbridge Co., Ltd. (rebranded as TEMC CNS Co., Ltd.) to vertically integrate chemical precursor synthesis and chemical delivery infrastructure; established a raw-gas localization partnership with POSCO; co-developed proprietary neon gas capture, purification, and recycling technology with SK Hynix to enhance semiconductor supply chain sustainability; and expanded its manufacturing footprint through strategic equity investments in precision equipment component manufacturers. Founded in 2015, TEMC Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea, and operates production, purification, and research facilities across the country.
