Qualitas Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based semiconductor intellectual property (IP) and design services provider specializing in the development, licensing, and implementation of high-speed interconnect interface IP for advanced System-on-Chip (SoC) and multi-die packaging architectures. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the company operates within the semiconductor design and IP licensing industry, serving fabless semiconductor firms, integrated device manufacturers (IDMs), and system developers across artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), data center, automotive, mobile, and display application markets. Qualitas Semiconductor offers a specialized portfolio of silicon-proven physical layer (PHY) and controller IP, comprising Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) solutions including PCIe Gen 4.0, Gen 5.0, and Gen 6.0 PHY and controller IP; Universal Chiplet Interconnect Express (UCIe) v1.0 and v2.0 PHY and controller IP designed for 2.5D and 3D die-to-die chiplet interconnects; Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes) IP including 56Gbps and 64Gbps PAM4 and NRZ high-speed transceivers; Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) solutions encompassing D-PHY, C-PHY, and M-PHY for camera and mobile display interfaces; Display interface IP including DisplayPort (DP) and Embedded DisplayPort (eDP) v1.5a PHY for timing controller (TCON) and display driver ICs; and end-to-end ASIC custom interface design, turnkey physical implementation, and multi-project wafer (MPW) IP verification services. In recent developments, Qualitas Semiconductor has expanded its high-speed connectivity portfolio with the launch of its 5nm PCIe 6.0 PHY IP and UCIe v2.0 PHY IP supporting die-to-die bandwidths up to 512Gbps for next-generation AI accelerators. Following its public listing on the KOSDAQ market, the company has expanded its international footprint by establishing a corporate subsidiary in San Jose, California, maintaining associate operations in Shanghai, China, and securing IP licensing agreements with global fabless companies, including U.S.-based edge AI chipmaker Ambarella. Additionally, the company has deepened its collaboration within the Samsung Advanced Foundry Ecosystem (SAFE) as a designated IP partner and achieved ISO 26262 automotive functional safety management process certification in partnership with TÜV Rheinland to support advanced automotive SoC development.
