Business
PIM KOREA Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based advanced materials and precision component manufacturing company specializing in Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology and high-precision metallurgy solutions. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Daegu, South Korea, the company manufactures, engineers, and supplies complex, high-tolerance sintered metal and hybrid material components across multiple industrial sectors, including automotive, consumer electronics, humanoid robotics, medical devices, and artificial intelligence infrastructure. The company operates through several core product and service categories: Automotive Powertrain and Chassis Components, comprising turbocharger parts such as adjust rings, unison rings, guide vanes (S-vanes), and wastegate valves, dual-clutch transmission (DCT) components, and electronic brake system parts; Consumer Electronics and IT Device Parts, including micro-speaker module frames, hinge assemblies, structural casings, and ultra-compact hardware for smartwatches, wearable smart rings, and mobile devices; Autonomous Driving and Optical Modules, providing high-precision structural housings and bracket components for advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) camera modules and sensor units; Medical and Dental Devices, including titanium dental implant components and surgical instrument hardware; and Advanced Robotics and Thermal Solutions, consisting of ultra-miniature speed reducers, actuator parts for humanoid robots, and heat dissipation materials for artificial intelligence data center cooling systems. PIM KOREA provides end-to-end manufacturing services, including mold design and fabrication, feed-stock preparation, high-pressure metal powder injection molding, debinding, vacuum sintering, secondary precision CNC machining, and surface finishing. The company maintains domestic production and tooling facilities in Daegu, Gyeongsan, and Incheon, South Korea, along with an overseas manufacturing subsidiary in Vietnam and an international business office in Germany, serving global tier-1 automotive suppliers and technology corporations such as BorgWarner, IHI Corporation, Valeo, Hyundai Transys, HL Mando, Samsung Electronics, LG Innotek, and Osstem Implant. In recent corporate developments, PIM KOREA successfully transitioned its public listing from the KONEX market to the KOSDAQ board of the Korea Exchange under ticker 448900 in April 2025 to accelerate its growth and capital deployment. Operationally, the company has undertaken a strategic business expansion beyond its traditional automotive base, heavily investing in the commercialization of micro-precision reduction gears for humanoid robotic actuators and developing specialized metallurgical solutions for liquid cooling systems in high-performance AI data centers. Furthermore, the company has expanded its manufacturing footprint and automated production capacity at its Vietnam manufacturing facility to meet growing international demand for precision electronics and next-generation mobility components.
